What others distort, God still sees clearly — and He is not silent forever.
lyrics
Let not my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me Neither let them wink with the eye Who hate me without a cause For they speak not peace But devise deceitful matters Against those who are quiet in the land Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me And said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it This You have seen, O Lord Keep not silence O Lord, be not far from me Stir up Yourself and awake to my judgment Even unto my cause, my God and my Lord Judge me, O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness And let them not rejoice over me Let them not say in their hearts Ah, so would we have it Let them not say, We have swallowed him up Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together Who rejoice at my hurt Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor Who magnify themselves against me Let them shout for joy and be glad Who favor my righteous cause Yes, let them say continually Let the Lord be magnified Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long

Psalm 35B: You Have Seen It
When you need to remember — that You're still my Shepherd.
What's Going On…
There are seasons where people speak over you like you are not even in the room. They assume, accuse, exaggerate, and celebrate when you stumble. You try to stay quiet and keep your heart clean, but it hurts to feel watched, misread, and publicly reduced.
What wears you down most is the feeling that lies are louder than truth. You keep asking: does God see this, or am I just supposed to swallow it and move on?
What It Means
This section answers that ache directly: "This You have seen, O Lord; keep not silence." That line is everything when you feel unseen. He asks God to wake up to his cause, judge with righteousness, and stop the enemy celebration over his pain.
You are never defenseless when you appeal to holy justice. He is not asking to become cruel like his attackers. He wants truth, righteousness, and God's name to be magnified. The turn in the second half is important: the final goal is praise all day long, not revenge all day long. Pain is real, but it does not get to be your permanent identity.
There is a line in here that does not get rushed past: "Stir up Yourself, and awake to my vindication, to my cause, my God and my Lord." That kind of language sounds bold until you remember he is talking to a Father, not a stranger. The closing turn pulls the focus outward: "Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, 'Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.'" Even his vindication, when it comes, is meant to lift God's name — not his own.
Right Here, Right Now
• Right now, tell God one specific place where you feel falsely judged, and ask Him to judge your cause in righteousness.
• Write this down: "Where am I tempted to let other people's narratives define me?"
• Repeat this line when shame or accusation spikes: "This You have seen, O Lord; keep not silence."
Selah
Stop. Breathe. Let the truth that He sees settle deeper than the voices around you, then tell Him exactly where you need vindication right now — out loud if you can.
Prayer
God, You have seen what people said and what it did to me.
Do not be far from me in this, and do not let lies have the final word over my life.
Judge my cause according to Your righteousness and keep my heart from becoming bitter.
Where I have been swallowed by shame, pull me back into Your truth.
Let my tongue speak of Your righteousness all day long, even while I wait for You to move.
You're still my Shepherd.
